Additional information: Nancy Slone Rivera has been a nurse for 30 years, with a specialization in wound care since 2001. She has experience in acute care, long-term care, home health care, outpatient care, and clinics for the medically underserved. She is available to evaluate and treat both chronic and acute wounds and ulcers of the lower extremity, including venous ulcers, traumatic wounds, non-healing surgical wounds and diabetic ulcers.
Additionally, she works with the research team at the Center for Lower Extremity Ambulatory Research (CLEAR) that investigates the latest in wound care treatments and therapies. Nancy also has multiple years of experience as an educator and lecturer, both locally and nationally.

Additional Information: Dr. Wu's areas of interest include assessing risk factors for lower extremity complications in patients suffering from diabetes mellitus, as well as diagnosing and preventing those complications, managing them, and treating them in a variety of manners, including surgery. She has published more than 60 papers, abstracts, posters, and book chapters, and has given more than 200 presentations and lectures. Dr. Wu currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of Foot and Ankle Quarterly.
